THE FREE THURSDAY CONCERTS Free half hour concert every Thursday beginning at 12:10P Organist in Residence S. Wayne Foster and his guests offer Free Concerts every Thursday at 12:10P throughout the year. CD recordings and a new DVD about the Great Organs are available for purchase. The August edition of Los Angeles Magazine has chosen the free Thursday organ recitals at First Church as one of their “152 Favorite Things About LA!” They recognize Wayne Foster and say, of The Great Organs, “This instrument makes all other organs seem anemic.” |
