High Tea & Musical Feast

The Contrapuntal Performance Hall in Brentwood hosts this special fundraiser fit for the 75th Annual Los Angeles Bach Festival. Featuring a delicious high tea, followed by a delightfully varied program that celebrates the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, you'll revel in the glorious sound of this charming and intimate venue, complete with a replica baroque organ.

David Goode

The excitement begins as David Goode, Organist and Head of Keyboard, Eton College, kicks off both the 75th Annual Los Angeles Bach Festival and the 40th Annual Organ Concert Series with a delightful all Bach program on the Great Organs, which is to include the Prelude and Fugue in F and selections from The Musical Offering.

It is a feast of baroque music for flute, harpsichord and fortepiano as baroque flutist Stephen Schultz, of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and keyboardist Preethi de Silva perform the music of J. S. Bach, Telemann, Couperin, C.P.E. Bach and Hoffmeister, in intimate Shatto Chapel.
