You won't want to miss an exciting Earth Day celebration at First Church on Sunday, April 27 as we welcome Vox Femina Los Angeles, along with members of the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, for a special presentation of "Song of Wisdom" from Old Turtle, by John Martin. Dr. Iris Levine conducts this spectacular composition for mixed chorus and percussion ensemble. Narrated by Dr. R. • 11:00 am | Music Appreciation Sunday
  •

It’s a celebration of our musical life at First Church on Sunday, May 18 as Dr. Jonathan Talberg, Dr. Christoph Bull, and the Cathedral Choir of First Church present the music of Franz Joseph Haydn in a special service highlighting his Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo. Also known as the Little Organ Mass because of its extensive use of the organ, this uplifting piece will be interwoven into our morning worship service as it would have been when it premiered in 1775 in Eisenstadt, Austria. All are welcome!
