@1stchurchla is so grateful to open our doors wide this Easter…and every Sunday!

The choir is on the chancel, the lilies are in their place, and the eggs are hiding…It’s Easter at First Church!

Our celebration begins this morning with an Organ Prelude at 10:30am, followed by our Worship Service at 11am, and our day concludes after the service with an Easter Reception and Egg Hunt. All are welcome!

Walking a Labyrinth is an ancient expression of the desire to be closer to God. All are invited to First Church today to walk our Labyrinth and feel the love of God that surrounds each of us. Open to the public until 7pm tonight!

Today as First Church celebrated the story of Palm Sunday, our service was filled with children, music, new members, baptisms and confirmations! It was a very special Sunday at First Church!

On Good Friday, Members of Laude led by Dr. David Harris & Dr. Christoph Bull on the Great Organs, will perform a unique quartet version of Faure’s celebrated “Requiem in D Minor”. After the Service we invite you to walk our Labyrinth on the Forecourt. A labyrinth represents a sacred journey that leads you on a path to its center and then back out again. It’s a way of praying with your whole body. All are welcome!
